iii. He is God of all people

As we have seen, He wants a loving relationship with you. He wants to help you. And, it doesn’t matter who you are. He is a God to all people. And yet, He treats each person individually, concerning whether they have received His forgiveness. Because, true Christianity is not about a religion. It’s about a relationship.

That being said, God still has plans for specific groups. The Jewish people are still His chosen people. He promised Abraham this, with a promise that only God had to agree to; Abraham didn’t have to do anything. However, the Jewish leadership at that time rejected their Messiah. So, the nation of Israel was grounded. They lost the privilege of having their nation dealt with as a chosen nation, till the end of the Church age.

God still loves them. He still called individual Jews to Him through His Holy Spirit. But, He did not deal with them for a long time as a nation. When the nation of Israel was miraculously reborn in 1948, it was the start of God’s plan to eventually deal with Israel as a whole, once again, as a chosen nation.

Never let anyone tell you that God rejected the Jews, though. He couldn’t. In fact, Jesus and all his early followers were Jewish. Jesus was God in flesh – and His flesh was that of a Middle Eastern Jewish male. But, He knows what each and every person is going through, no matter who they are.
