That means telling others. Chances are, you don’t have to worry about spies. But, even if you do, remember that God can close peoples’ eyes, just as He opened them. That is part of a prayer often spoken by a very brave Christian named Brother Andrew, who smuggled Bibles into many places where it was forbidden.
These people sometimes even had Bibles that were mistranslated. Remember how I explained that scribes translated from the originals, and sometimes made mistakes. Well, some people take things out on purpose. Things like Christ’s deity, or miracles. These people are selfish, and want to think people are the only power on earth. But, they’re wrong. God promises that he shall triumph over such mockers.
In the meantime, though, He wants them to come to Christ. You should pray and read your Bible each day – if allowed to have one. If you’re not allowed, of course, you can always read it with a friend. But, you also need to be telling people. Think about it; that gives you more people to stick up for you, and say how long you have believed, when you do tell your family or whoever is against you.
Just remember – always pray, just like Brother Andrew, and follow God’s leading on what to do. Don’t sneak around out of adventure – let this be God leading you. And, seek His guidance, so you can know just how to handle things and help your siblings and others, despite the problems. For instance, you can go with younger siblings to play and just happen to find yourselves at a Bible study or something, too. There are some online message boards, too, that are filled with solid, Christian friends, the best being the one at www.rr-bb.com. Child Evangelism Fellowship has great tools, too. Just remember what Jesus told His disciples – they were like sheep among wolves. So, you must be very wise and clever, and yet as harmless as a dove. (Matt. 10:16)
