i. Make sure how you are led is Biblical

Obviously, then, it is possible for things to enter your heart that are not what God wants. They won’t always be as obvious as David’s choices, either. You may have a choice between two equally good things. It’s just that one is God’s plan for you and the other isn’t. Of course, with some things, it doesn’t matter. Where you stop for lunch is usually not important; although God can even lead there at times.

The point is, though, that we are faced with many choices. And, because we still have our sinful natures, things will come at us that are not Biblical. For instance, really mistreating someone. That is sin. Just because it enters your heart doesn’t mean it’s right. This is why the Bible is important. However, at times, we are faced with choices that, like the college one, seem equally good.

This is when you need to find solid, spiritual guidance. But, make sure that the guidance lines up with God’s Word. If it goes against God’s Word, it’s wrong.
