Remember when we said earlier that our sins were taken away? That’s true. God forgives very easily, just like your friends and you should. However, just like with your friends, if there is something between you because of a hurt, that friendship needs to be restored before everything is perfect again. Someone needs to forgive. And, someone needs to seek forgiveness. God has already promised to forgive. He’s already done it. He’s just waiting for us to confess and forsake our sin through prayer.
So, what if you don’t know if you’ve sinned? That’s fine. King David wrote in Psalm 139 that God should “see if there be some wicked way in me.” That is what we should do; ask the Lord to show us what we’ve done wrong. And, if there is sin in our lives, forsake it. That means give it up, give it over to God.
