God’s will was for the Shunammite woman to give birth. His will was that the prophet Jeremiah and others be winners over evil. His will is that you win, too.
You can’t win if you don’t get in the game. It will be much harder if you don’t get in game day shape. That’s why we focused on the Bible, and the fruits of the Spirit.
God is not a Heavenly vending machine, as we’ll see. The Bible helps us see what God’s will is. He wants people to be saved, so they can go to Heaven. He wants us to forgive others. He wants us to trust Him. And so on.
So, while God wants you to help, and He wants people to draw close to Him, He has a plan that is far beyond what we can understand. That means that the road won’t always be easy. However, you can be sure of one thing in the end: Victory!
